CHRIS HANNA

I have more than 30 years of experience copy editing, designing and web producing at newspapers including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Newsday and the Austin American-Statesman. Since 1997, I have won numerous design-related awards on state, regional and national levels, including two awards of excellence from the Society of News Design. In 2011, a portfolio of my headlines won first place in a national headline competition sponsored by the American Copy Editors' Society.
